Ok .. I am generally a good watermelon picker outter. I tap it with an open hand and listen to the sound.... it is a rich thump sound.... hard to explain.
After I cut my melons, I keep them in the frig. And the best recipie I have for watermelons is to buy one cut it open and dive in
