Also, last week at Petsmart I was holding her in my arms and some lady just came and took her out of my arms...I'm not kidding.
Now it's not always that bad and I used to like all the attention of having a cute dog but now it's annoying and I don't want people to touch her OR pick her up, I just don't.
I'm sure many of you have had this same experience, as we all have such adorable babies, so I want to know...how do you tell people to quit touching your dog?!?
I need a polite way of saying "Don't touch my #$@@*^@ dog!!!!" |
When you encounter a person that reaches or touches with out asking first then the gloves are off and there is no reason for you to be polite - with out swearing or being vulgar simply say " keep your hands off my dog or i will knock you on you butt " - try it it works - this is the voice of experience talking here
If they look at you funny or say anything about rude - just reply " you started it when you reached for my posession " and walk away -
It won't stop the next jerk from doing the same thing but i would never allow a stranger to take one of my babies out of my arms - i am a old greatgrandmother but let me tell you that reaching for one of my kids and you are starting world war 3- Stand up girl and tell people in a nice but firm way that its not a pass around toy !!!!
