They pick her up without asking!!! OMG! That is RUDE! I would be pretty PO'd by that.
I've had people come up and pet Mia without asking... but thats it. I don't get too offended, usually because Mia doesn't like stragers and she'll back herself into me to try and get away (we're working on it). But for the most part people will ask before touching her. A man came up to me over the weekend to pet Mia and his wife yelled at him "you have to ask first dear!". Ha!
When people ask if they can hold her, I politely tell them "sorry, she is shy around new people and freaks out when strangers hold her". I've actually had a friend drop her because she wiggled so frantically to get away. After that, no stangers hold her, and if a friend of mine is meeting her for the first time and asks to hold her, I have them sit on the ground!
