There are good /not so good groomers in any shop/salon,go in and watch at the window for a bit. Take note of who is patient and good with the dogs. Ask questions like "Is there a groomer here who specializes on small breeds,Yorkies in particular?"

Also request an express groom, your pet will be in & out in 2 hrs or less for an additional $10.

Please don't lump all PetSmart associates together, yes there are some who shouldn't groom a pet rock, but there are some like both of my daughters who have lists of request dogs. They work hard at their job and can honestly say at the end of the day that they would be happy to show off any of their grooms! Just my .02, proud mom of 2 PetSmart Groomers.
