I think it is rare to see an adult dog with this parasite or at least the actual disease because by that time their immune system is strong enough that their body fights it. It is usually immuno compromised dogs like young puppies who are most susceptible. This round of albon (I assume that is what she isbeing treated with) should be sufficient to protect her for life. No worries.
