I would wait to give him a bath, until he is feeling 100% better,
between baths I usually freshen up my puppy with pet wipes,
and use a grooming spray when I brush him and comb him.
I also spray water lightly on his face with a spray bottle
and comb out his face hair after he is done eating, and
at night before he goes to bed, I use a doggie face wash
to clean his face.
