Layla doesn't bark. She goes to work with my parents where barking is not an issue. You have to teach her NOT to bark... alternatively.. get a cat. layorkiemom is right.. DOGS BARK.. it's what they do... and if she has a muzzle on 10 hours a day how is she drinking... or eating? or telling you she needs to go out... or if something is wrong. I personally think it is wrong. You are limiting her play time as well. How can she chew on her toys? If it isn't working for you having her at your house. i'd consider getting a trainer or rehoming her. you aren' being fair to her.
