I'm so glad Bella is feeling better!! Many years ago my first Yorkie, Molly (RIP) got up on a chair and took a whole plenty pack of Juicy Fruit gum out of my purse, that was on the kitchen table. She then took it back to her whelping box and proceeded to eat the whole pack and give it to her pups!! This was all in about 5 minutes when I was outside watering the plants!! It wasn't sugar free gum but I was still frantic because they even ate the aluminum wrappers and they were about 5 weeks old!! The vet just told me to watch them to make sure that they weren't lethargic and to watch their poop the next day. The next day, they had gum poop!! It would come out as poop and then a big piece of gum!! These yorkies sure do make us worry sometimes!! |
