 Update
Well, the hotel ballroom is booked until 5:00 Friday, and they'll have all their A/V equipment to clean up after that, so it's not going to work for us to hang out there if it rains. My mom is going to the park this Saturday to see exactly what is available in the way of shelter houses and such, and then I'll let you know. We may just have to plan to hangout in our rooms if it rains, like others suggested. My mom did say that it's been raining most every night, but that it's been completely dry (and HOT) during the day, so hopefully it won't be a problem.
Also, for those of you who asked about making sure the food and drink you buy in the hotel restaurant is "credited" to our group to help us meet the minimum, I asked the hotel about this, and they said, "There wouldn't be a really easy way for us to track the food spent in the restaurant by your group, but thats a very nice offer. Im sure they will make close to the difference with restaurant food and bar beverage." So...no worries about telling the restaurant that it's for our group since they aren't holding us to our minimums anymore, but I'm sure they'll appreciate any additional money you spend with them!!
