I am leaving for my home state of maryland tomorrow morning, and i have an antique metal suitcase that i got from the flea market and i would love to pack my things in it. does anyone know anything about whether or not the airlines allow this? I looked deep and hard, called, and wrote emails to the airlines inthe past week and i have only found restrictions on size and weight. I guess this doesnt come up in normal conversations about checked luggage tho. What do you guys think? My stuff is packed in my antique suitcase right now... should i switch it to my duffle bad? Please let me know what you think!
