I also think that starting a local group is a great idea. (Hmmmm maybe you could make the business cards for your local group?) I know that a local group with a website is a great idea. Many people just simply don't like to contribute to what they see as a huge agency but would gladly give to a local cause (maybe thats just a Southern thing). |
Good ideas.

I agree about the bigger organizations. On the one hand, they seem too big and impersonal and on the other hand, there is strength in numbers. With that many resources at their disposal, maybe they can get more accomplished than small, local groups?
