Confused Help! Advantage Statement

To make a long story short, the job which I have been employed with since June 2007 will no longer be able to keep me employed come August. I was hired under the impression that I would be leaving in August to attend Law School. But have since decided against law school. Already spoke with boss and president and they really can't keep me past August. I found all of this out in early March and have been on a job search every since.

I have mailed my resume and cover letter to most of the major companies in my area. I've applied to numerous job postings and all the works. I'm currently working as a Marketing Coordinator for an Aerospace & Defense company. I'm hoping to find a job in a Marketing role or in a Market Research type of role.

Anyway, yesterday during one of my many job searches, I stumbled across what I think is a very appealing job. Anyway, instead of a cover letter to accompany your resume. This company is asking for an Advantage Statement, which they say should highlight your strengths, knowledge, skills, experience, etc.

I really want to make a good impression but I'm at a complete loss on how to formulate an advantage statement. The HR lady at my current company said it's almost like a personal mission statement or basically an advertisment selling yourself to this company.

So if anyone has any ideas, or has any sample Advantage Statements or anything that could help me I would really appreciate it.

The job I'm applying for is an Associate in the Client Service Position within the Advertising Department of a major Market Research Firm. I know I'm capable of doing what the job requires, but again, I have no idea how to formulate this advantage statement.

Please Help
