Since you have the chicken...
this is one of my favorities.
I cut the chicken in strips. Then i season with salt, pepper sometimes i use garlic powder. saute them in oil and garlic.
When they are almost done throw cremini or white mushrooms on the chicken. i use the whole box. you could use squash here too instead if you dont like mushrooms.
then pour like a half of bottle of Lee and Perrins worchestershire for chicken. it is a beige sauce not the dark brown one. although they are right next to each other on the shelf.
I really saturate the veggies with the sauce. I turn the heat down and let the sauce soak in and steam the veggies . it makes a great sauce for the chicken. this is great with mashed potatoes!!
it takes about 15 min to cook and it sems like you have been cooking for hours
