The after birth I dont know I still haven't decided Lilli is do in 3 weeks so I better get on the ball but I still dont know if she is pregnant or not she is showing all of signs but gaining no weight so I am wanting to take her to the vet on the 5th to have a x ray done. But the dewclaws it a good idea because they can be torn by catching it on furniture and alot of other stuff the only reason they would need it is for hunting so if you are not going to use them for hunting then I would go ahead and cut them off. If you have never docked a tail then it might be to hard on you the first time. I do mine so I dont have to take them to the vet a get them exposed to any diseases because the best time to dock and remove declaws is at 3 days old.Hope this helps. Kristi |
