I just Had Pixie my 2 1/2 year old's teeth and 5 pulled under anesthesia. She has terrible plaque and inflamed gums. She eats the same as my others and her teeth were so bad. I tried the Petzlife, brushing and dental wipes but did not get any improvement so she had to be put under. They took every precaution, antibiotics before an after and her teeth look like brand new. I couldn't believe the difference. Cali my 3 year old's teeth are not bad but she has retained baby teeth that the er vet couldn't take out when she was spayed as she stated loosing body temp so they brought her to. She was diagnosed with by a liver biopsy at the same time with mild MVD. My vet does not want to put her under for her teeth so she lives with extra teeth. I have started being vigilant in brushing all of their teeth and using the Petzlife so I can prevent another problem like Pixies. I would try and work with her daily toi get her more tolerant of the brushings and get the Petzlife. |
