You are not ignorant but I am surprised that you have not been told how to care for your yorkie. Has your pup been to the vet? I believe you said he just had his vaccines..well at that time it should have been explained to you what the vaccines are preventing. A new puppy check up should inform you on all that you need to know to care for your puppy. Have your vet give you a new puppy packet..this should have all the information in there. I can go into detail about each vaccine and what disease it prevents but it is the vets job to do this ..you are paying him or her a lot of money..ask a lot of questions.. good luck...I am glad you came to yorkie talk though ...
