But I have a passion for dogs and have sacrificed many things that other teens do to pursue breeding dogs and my career in fashion while other teens are out "partying" and having fun im usually the one researching yorkies or looking up how to be a successful entrepreneur or watching a dog show or Project Runway....lol But I know that with the mentor I have and the bloodlines and yorkies that I will be acquiring that people will soon overlook the age and come to me as they know I have they have that perfect yorkie that they desire and have what it take to be and ethical responsible breeder.

Alot of todays best breeders that have years of experience did not just want to start breeding nor did they. They studied, had a mentor that was also an exhibitor, exhibited dogs a long time and learned boatloads before they bred their first litter. The goal was not to just breed Yorkies, but it was to breed the best Yorkies and that takes time and knowledge and experience. It sounds to me that you just want to jump into the breeding part without doing the ground work. Go to shows, show your dogs, have them evaluated and health screened. Show your 2 lb stud. Then with a mature eye, evaluate that stud. Will he actually produce better than himself or do any improvments to your breeding plan? Champion lines do not always mean quality or soundness.
Well, good luck in your breeding program!
