Have a stool sample to be safe, my first litter, Crick had diarrhea and when I called the vet they told me it was normal. Hers did turn into cocillia from stress and on the 3rd and 4th day I lost a puppy because she was loosing all the nutrician she was putting in. Once we got her on medication (we put the remaining two pups on meds too because by now it had gone thru her milk to them), then she was fine. Her second litter we had loose stool the first day and the vet gave me meds right away, but didnt end up needing them, she was ok. I think she was just so nervous the first time. |
