I'm glad you found a mentor that you can learn from and will help you on your new venture. I myself hope one day to become a Exhibitor /breeder, not for the money but the pure joy of having beautiful dogs.
I wish you the best of luck, and hope you do all the research you can and work closely with your mentor because after all it's the best interest of your dog, and the breed that should come first.

I hope you continue posting, and coming back to yorkie talk for advice I know it can be intimidating at times but there are plenty of people here who are very knowledgeable.

I definitely agree all these people who have "years of experience" din't have years of experience when they first started and I totally agree with everyone who says the would'nt buy from breeders without years of experience but I feel like everyone should be given a chance as that breeder who is "just starting out" may be one of the best yorkies breeders in the world in the future. But I have a passion for dogs and have sacrificed many things that other teens do to pursue breeding dogs and my career in fashion while other teens are out "partying" and having fun im usually the one researching yorkies or looking up how to be a successful entrepreneur or watching a dog show or Project Runway....lol But I know that with the mentor I have and the bloodlines and yorkies that I will be acquiring that people will soon overlook the age and come to me as they know I have they have that perfect yorkie that they desire and have what it take to be and ethical responsible breeder.
