Maybe it would be good to just start small and do one litter to see how things go. Having a mentor is good, staring slow is good too. Many things can go wrong, you are young and have time to learn. If you start with one litter and just sell them for a nominal fee to friends or family who might want to support you in your venture. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.
