DH and I went back outside to look around. thats when we saw 3 diff swirls in the sky/clouds that looked like they were trying to form rotations!!ACK! Luckilly they passed, but its the winds that were bothering us. Last year around this time our area was hit by some major straightline winds which did some tremendous damage in our area. No power for 2 weeks, trees down everywhere, trees on houses, cars, roads along with electrical lines on everything too!
What time did these winds happen where you live? I'm wondering how close we are to each other?!?!

BTW I do hope your settled back down by now! I know those tings freak me out and I can't get settled for some time. Thats when the ativan or valium come in handy lol!
Oh good Lord, I have no idea what time it was, I know it was still daylight out. If I had to guess, and considering my hubby was home from work already and we had already done some running, I'd say about 6:00 or so, but don't take my word on it, I was so frantic I didn't even look at a clock, I stood out in the rain waiting to see if that tree was gonna fall and praying if it did, it wouldn't land on any of the firemen. I'm located in Wadsworth, it's Medina County. Have family out in Wayne County and they called and told my hubby that they seen on the news a tornado was spotted, not sure were though. Oh God, last year when those storms came through, a tornado actually touched down where my hubbys sisters step daughter was working at on a farm. She was on 13 years old and got tossed through the air and across the barn. She ended up with a broken arm and bruised ribs and some cuts, but she was really lucky, it could have been SO MUCH worse! It's about time for Ohios wacky weather to get started, it never seems to fail either, school lets out and the weather goes to crap, lol! I'm so glad those swirls in the sky didn't form into a tornado while over you!! Where about are you in Ohio?
