You bring up a really good point. Did your vet palpitate her abdomen to see if it was painful? That's one of the first things my vet did to determine whether or not Lady had HGE or pancreatitis.

Also, I can't imagine dealing with a vet who doesn't have an in house lab. Having to wait until the next day to get results of bloodwork is unacceptable. If Squeaky does have either HGE or pancreatitis, it can be dangerous to wait 24 hours. Hopefully it is nothing that serious this time, but I'd be shopping for a vet asap.
