Thanks, Deborah.

I was seriously thinking of switching vets. I'm not happy with them at all. Yup, no more snacks for her. She's going on a strict diet starting now. I'm cooking rice and chicken as I type.

So as soon as that vet tech gave back Squeekie we had to wait like 30 minutes for her to complete my bill and process the meds. I can hear her questioning the other techs what to put on the label . Squeekie was so uncomfortable she kept claiming up to my chest wanting me to hug her so tight, then I noticed she farted. And as soon as we got out of the vet, Squeekie stopped shaking and was more relaxed on the drive home. Turns out she let out a little stool, good thing I wrapped her in her blankie the whole time. The stool looked like dried blood. It was only a very little smudge though. As soon as we got home, I gave her a warm bath, cut her hair around her bottom area, gave her her antibiotic, and now she is asleep while I cook her food. She's going to take a stomach coating med in 20 more minutes.

It sounds like she has pancreatitis and advanced rapidly. Please follow all of the instructions from the doctor and read on the web. This is very painful for them.

Also, I would let the vet know you are unhappy about the tech yelling at her because she was so scared. Poor little pup!

Warmly, Deborah
