I need to do that. One of Yoda's favorite couches has a carpet right below it so he can jump up and down fine, but the other couch, he carpet is a little bit too far away, and sometimes he lands on the hardwood floor a bit too hard.
A nice strip of carpet could probably do, but steps are definitely the safest for your Yorkie's joints. Yoda has had some issues with his left knee (?) giving out from jumping or playing too hard. The vet says surgery is possible, but it's quite expensive. At least lately Yoda hasn't had any problems with his joints. |
