My little Neenie was never spayed by her previous owner; maybe because of too many possible complications and side effects during surgery. Neenie weighs about 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 lbs; she's about 8 years old. How often do the females come into heat and what age do they stop. She's been in heat once since I had her. She only bled very little; I found just a small spot of blood on her blanket on a couple of days. What is the norm?
