ok well my baby is sleeping on my lap right now. and I just want to cry for this happening
She HATED the hydrogen peroxide like nothing I ahve ever seen! It was horrible holding her there so trustingly then using the dropper to put it in her mouth and her starting to fight me with swallowing it. I went with the higher end of 2 cc the first and 2nd time cause i had a feeling she wasn't going to swallow it well. figured a better chance of getting the most in with her fighting was to go the higher dose. She coughed and acted like she was dry heaving after the 2nd dose but nothing came up and out, gave 3rd dose of 1 1/2 cc still just some choking like she was gonna throw up gave 4th dose of 1 1/2cc and immediatly , we didn't even have her off the counter yet she started bringing everything up. supper from 10pm, YY treats from right before 11 and what looks to be very little bits and pieces of gum. Vet said if she started tonight with emptying her stomache she will continue to do so for a couple of hours, with that amount of hydrogen peroxide. Rigth now she is resting on my lap, I have a pee pad between me and her to catch any mess. All my poor baby wants to do is go to night night time. Right now is when I usually get ready tto lay down and she is confused with why we're still up. This couldn't have happened at the worse time. Koda and Kammie stay up and snuggle with me till I get off the puter then Koda heads up stairs to sleep with DH and lately I have been crashing on our ohhhh soooo comfy couch due to back/neck problems from our bed. Anyways Kammie snuggles down under the covers till she is right by my belly and curls up like a kitten and goes to sleep till I get up in the mornig. She keeps looking at me like, alright mom, its bedtime,,, she wants to curl up under the blankets and get some sleep but if i lay down i will be out. i need to stay here online all night to stay awake to watch her
luckily DH gets up early so he will take over watching her till the vet calls us after breakfast and tells us what to do from there. So
So sorry that got long and drawn out. I had taken my Ambien CR right before I saw the post about xylitol being deadly to our babies and its(the ambien) kicking in full effect, I just nead to stay awake!! 3 more hours!!
Kammie keeps making me nervous, I have an oscillating fan on and whenever it comes her way she jumps or kinda fliches a little bit. Everytime she does that my heart skips a beat thinking she is going into a seizure. Both of my younger skin boys have had febrile seizures so I know signs and all, plus I worked in a nursing home for 10 years as a state tested nursing assistant so I have a little bit of knowledge, lol!
