. It's so hard to understand why things like this happen - and it's natural to blame ourselves - "what if---", "why didn't I---", "I should have---". But it wasn't your fault and you shouldn't feel like you did anything wrong. You did everything right. You loved Joey with all your heart and provided him with everything he needed to be the happy, little boy he was. Now it's Joey's turn to watch over you until you can be together again. I'm sure Joey knows how much you miss him. I'm also sure he would rather have you smile when you think of him, not cry.
