We had Captain neutered last Monday and he did great...he was 20 months at the time and we were afraid that since he was older that he would take longer to heal. But by Tuesday he was back to himself completely. He did try to lick his wound from time to time but I just distracted him and got him playing with something else. We were told to keep him quiet for three days but that didn't happen as he wanted to play...now a week later he is 100% and seems so much happier!!
