I got a harness for her and it was too big but I ordered one of the "Puppia" ones today online?? I got that retractable lead to use too when the harness comes!! I don't have a fenced in yard so I am trying to get her as "confined" as I can and easy access to get her outside quick!!lol Taking her out every 1/2 hour or however often I need to is not a problem but she won't always do anything out there and then when she comes in she goes on the floor!! Do you all advise to leave her in the crate all night and not take her out? I might try that tonight because last night I took her out 3x in the middle of the night and she still peed and pooped on the towel in the front of her cage between sometime between 4am and 6am?? I worry about her "eating it"!!UGH!! Isn't there something to stop that?? She doesn't do it all the time but she has started doing that just this past week??? She eats her food real good. I leave her food down all the time too and that might be why she can't hold it at night?? I don't know?? I don't want her not to have enough to eat and go too long at night without food?? I feel so dumb about all this and I can't believe a 2lb. dog has me so whipped!!LOL
She was raised in a house and she wasn't in a cage there but the lady said that "she slept in a crate at night but she was with her mother so she was good!! The breeder is the one that sold me the wire crate that I have so I figure it is what she needs to be in?? I also have the plastic one and have tried that too but I think at night she is better in the wire one so she can have room to go potty if she really has to and not lay in it??? Is that wrong to do??? I put a towel in the front part folded and a little bed in the back part??
