He could be having a hypoglycemic episode. I'm assuming this is a young puppy you have. If this is the case, yes, you should be worried. A new puppy simply must eat. Try giving him some canned food or boiled chicken to get him to eat. The Nutri-cal is good but Karo syrup will get into their system faster to boost their blood sugar level. If you're an inexperienced owner, you should get him to the vet ASAP. These episodes can get bad quickly. Any odd behavior such as you described is not normal in a puppy and you should be worried.
