Good post. If something should happen to us and since Scooter is in declining health, I think I would have my daughter put him down. It would kill her but she has 2 hugh dogs, one which stays in the house. I don't have any siblings, just in-laws and I sure wouldn't want either of them to have him. Sad to think about.
I had to do this when my step dad went into a home. He had told me before the stroke that was what he wanted done with his cat. I'm not really a cat person but I cried all the way there and back.
