Jolie does the same thing ... she calms down half way into the trip . But I was told by the vets office to give her benadryl ( I am not really sure of the recommened dose at this moment ) , I guess some people give their children benadryl when flying so I guess it is not too cruel ??? right !!! Maybe a carrier and small confined place in the car . Jolie is extremely scared when we are traveling the interstate because of the big 18 wheelers .
