The Vet has done 2 stool samples and both have came back negative for parasites. He said he may be IBS. One week he put her on Flagyl, it didn't have any effect. Then he put her on Propectalin, that helped some, then when we were finished with that, it came back again in full force. This last 7 days we were on a type of cortisone. Still no luck, so he wants to try her on the Propectalin again. So, we're going to do that. The Vet said that it's not unusual for it to run it's course. But now she's loosing interest in her food. I thought that maybe Oatmeal may help with the runny stools and put a little substance in her stomach. What do you think ? |
