Pete, my 7 lb Yorkie, is 3 years old and has a heart condition. One vet diagnosed it as an irregular valve and another as a heart murmer. Both said to watch for coughing. He has always coughed once in awhile and lately seems to do it more often. How much coughing is too much and requires medication?
