Default what a great breeder to be honest!!!!!!

That is GREAT that your breeder was honest! Good for her!!!! She was that upfront with you and did the necessary precaution of testing the others. Those are the kind of breeders we need.

My dog never showed any signs of LS (that I was aware of but now I wonder about a few things) but developed stones at 1 1/2 years old. We are having bladder issues but he eats and has bounds of energy. I stay strict with his diet and supplements and work closly with a few vets. thousands and thousands of dollars later...but he is worth it.

He was diagnosed with multiple external congenital liver shunts. Cornell assured me that I did nothing to cause it and that he had to be born with it with the absense of any other liver disease.

Unfortunatly, even with good breeders (and bad) liver shunts can pop up. Breeders who are open about it are wonderful. Even show breeders get it. I got my dog from sherlyn yorkshire terriers in connecticut.
