I just came across your post regarding Mason's ears. My morkie, Ebby, takes after the maltese side so her ears are down. I have a good friend who owns a yorkie and she was told by the breeder that you have to keep the ears trimmed so the ears will stand up; otherwise, I think she was told the cartildge in the ears will break.
