You could ask your vet for a prescription for Hill's L/D (none of the others would be appropriate if your dog really is liver compromised which we don't know yet) or Royal Canin Hepatic LS 14. Low protein is important, but type of protein is just as important. Animal proteins are hardest on them. It's also important to remember that your dog is just a little puppy. They need more protein than adults also...
