I made a bunch of them for Madison and I check him all the time to see if they're wet. Sometimes he wriggles so much, rubbing his back on the carpeting, that he gets it turned around and then he gets the band itself wet instead of the pads

. This way, I can just toss the wet one into the washing machine and pull out another one. When I let him go out, I try to take it off him before he goes and I've got some wipes nearby to clean him when he comes in. I also use the wipes when I change the pads....I think the Poise type pads do a pretty good job of wicking the moisture away from his skin, but I don't want to take any chances, so I wipe his skin off and wait a bit for it to dry before I put the band back on. I haven't had any problems so far, and I think they look pretty cute (mine are like the Nemo one).
