Glad you got your bands! I thought the Nemo one turned out especially cute! I just love the colors.

I don't think you need to check that often (if all you are worried about is skin irritation). Three or four times a day is plenty. But if you are trying to train them to keep them dry and take them off when you take them out, yes, I would probably check them that often if possible.
