I was unfortunate enough to get a puppy with kennel cough. My vet was reluctant to use certain antibiotics due to risks associated with giving them to small puppies. He tried several antibiotics but she wasn't getting better. Well, Bonnie suffered with this for 2 months until he finally relented and gave her Tamaril. It cleared her up really quickly and she seems to have suffered no ill effects due to it. Kennel cough is contagious so you can't have an affected dog around other dogs. |
