I've never heard of doing a trial week, but when I adopted my 2 at age 2, I was very anxious about it.
The problem is, the first few days can be an adjustment period potentially anyway, and it may be hard to tell in a week's time. Or on the other hand you may have no adjustment issues.
I would talk with the breeder about your concerns for adjustment and see what she has to say and what recommendations she would make |
