So we stayed up most of the night checking up on them and just making sure the blankets were secure around them to help stop their shaking. Once they got comfy they stopped moaning and crying and just slept. At one point, Jenna jumped out of bed and started wagging her tail and was like "lets play lets play, i want kisses i want kisses".... it was so wonderful. I hadnt realized how much I missed them.... Jaya had her surgery second - so later in the day, and she was incapable of even standing yesterday. The night was very difficult for her.
This morning, after they had their breakfast and their meds, both of them were up and running around. I made them go back into their xpen because I didnt want them to overdo it...lets just say they werent happy llol
I have them with me on the sofa in their sleepy blanket ..they're sleeping soundly. And I feel a lot better too  |
This is great news! You mentioned that they were wearing the cones; I know lots of people have been using the onesies after this surgery. It's a one-piece baby garment, I didn't hear about it till later, but it will keep them from licking their incision. I don't know since dewclaws were removed on Jenna, if it would work, but I thought you might be interested. It makes a cute picture anyway.
