I would wait, too, until he is old enough to hold his piddle. I was so paranoid when I did allow mine to sleep with me, that I would set a loud timer to get me up in 4 hrs. Never had an accident, though. It's hard to not have them cuddling in bed with you. I love the cuddling!!! Actually, even when I had mine in an ex-pen I had a timer wake me up to take them piddle until they were able to hold it. I think it is 1 hr. per month they are old. That is is how long to reasonably expect them to hold it.
