Good point about the puppy-proofing. As far as walks go, it takes a few weeks after the vaccinations for the antibody level (titer count) to be high enough to consider the puppy protected by the vaccinations so he shouldn't be around other dogs unless you KNOW they're healthy. This would include where other dogs have been so hold off on taking him out until a few weeks after he's done with his puppy shots.
