Thanks Tinker... I read your post and decided, "ok, I am going to do that, be patient and keep trying my treat method". Then, he had his so called "accident" again on the floor downstairs again. Now, I am starting to think that those times he came to the pad on his own to pee were the accidents, not these that he does on the floor! Yes, he did it again today. He is doing this every day. And every time, he gets reprimanded. Of course every time I take him to the pad and he does it, he gets a treat and praises.
Should I just keep trying the same things?
