Just got home... the girls are sitting here on the sofa with me with pained expressions. They look so pitiful with their cones. Jaya is doing worse right now because she went second... she is groaning with each breath. And I think she may have just had a nightmare or the pain meds are wearing off (?) because she just cried out and made a sound I have never heard before... and her eyes began to water. Is she crying? Just makes me want to start to cry again too. I just can't bear to see them like this.
When we went to the vet I could hear Jenna crying in the back... and the secretary said she had been calling out for a long time. I need to buck up and be strong for them... i'm sure it wont help them to sense my vibe, and they need to feel secure and safe. This is really hard.
