I do not think your dog has rabies. Unless she has been bitten by a wild animal and was never vaccinated. Two highly unlikely scenarios!

On the other hand, she could have vaccinosis. If she got her yearly rabies in April, it would make sense that symptoms would come out now. Vaccinosis is when instead of making an immune system toughen up against an illness, the vaccinated individual sometimes exhibits symptoms from an illness.

My Cav has rabies vaccinosis and doesn't grow hair on his tummy, it is as bald as can be, not even peach fuzz. He also got a really insane prey drive after that vaccine. I had to detox him, go on a raw diet, go to a homeopath to detox further...it was a long road, but he is ok. His tummy is still bald, but thats it. I wouldn't jump to a vaccinosis conclusion until you give a few weeks try of walks & obedience training.
