OMG! I do everything for them too!! I cook, clean, brush teeth, bath all of mines and the hubby is the one that "protects" them from me. That's why they go to him, to be protected from the stuff they don't like.
You have to think like a baby, wouldn't you want to go to the guy that just plays with you all the time instead of just getting cleaned or fed. How boring!
Like Squeekie, when she sees me going to the bathroom and "peeks" outside the door and listens for running water, then she runs straight to my hubby's arms! When its time to look for her, there she goes hiding under this armpit and Naboo and Wookie is hiding under his desk!
