Hello everyone! I am new to the forum, I've been reading through it for a week now and just recently joined. A lot of great information on here!
I have a question, my 15-wk old yorkiepoo Gabby (4 lbs), two weeks ago started to making a clicking noise when breathing hard/panting. It does not seem like the reverse sneeze or a sympton of a collapsing trachea, at least from what I've read on here. No honking, no coughing. She seems to breathe just fine, no problems. But every once in awhile, mostly at night and usually after a walk, she makes this clicking noise while breathing. The noise is hard to explain, but a noise you could make by clicking your tounge againist the roof of your mouth. Does this make sense?
When it first started happening, I switched from a collar to a harness and that seemed to help lessen it, now I just hear it few times. Because she seems to being doing well, I haven't taken her to the vet. I am taking her next week for her rabbies shot and was going to ask them about it then, but not sure if they can do anything about it, especially if she is not making the noise then for them to hear.
Has anyone had experience with this?
Thanks!
