Shih tzus are grand little dogs, aren't they?
My shih tuz x poodle aka ''shih poo'' came from a pet store, but I think she was from a byb not a puppymill. Still sucks that her parents are beinging breed for greedy purposes. Most designer breed dogs are beinging bred just for money, and its a sad thing they are. Most of these breeders have no concerns on what happens to the puppies. In Princess case, she was neglected once she stop being a puppy and got 'too big' to be an inside dog and no longer wanted.
Breeders who care don't let this happen. Though I had a litter of puppies, I made sure they went to good homes, so things like this won't happen. Funny, once Princess former owners found out about the puppies, they wanted one...umm yeah right I was going to give them one, over my dead body.
My sister's shih tzus came from pet stores [Petland
], even though I tried and educate her on puppymills/bybs. But they are two very sweet dogs, whom I don't regret of having them in our lives. I just wish they didn't have to of been breed only for cash crop and that one day their parents are rescued from whatever puppymill/bybs they came from and stop puppymills/bybs all together.
